My most comprehensive service! With 2 rounds of edits, a line/copy edit covers all aspects of a regular copyedit but results in more substantive changes. I'll check for flow/pacing, sentence structure, repetition, consistency, redundancy, grammar, punctuation, spelling, & word usage. 

• First Round (stylistic edit): a line-by-line review, focusing on your writing & use of language at the sentence & paragraph level.
• Second Round (copyedit): which is outlined below. 
• Detailed style sheet.

Now my focus is on the more minute and technical details of your story. 

• Sentence review to ensure your story is consistent, cohesive, complete, & clear to the reader. 
• Ensure consistency in all mechanical matter—spelling, capitalization, punctuation, numerals, opened vs closed vs hyphenated words.
•  Check consistency in font usage, chapter headings, manuscript formatting, & pagination.
• Light fact-checking.  
• Detailed style sheet included.

Choose a proofread when all you need is that second set of eyes. After your edits and copyedits are complete, I will: 

• Check for any lingering formatting, grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Point out any inconsistencies in style or plot.
